Antique wooden bowl - Tazawat - Tuareg. These wooden bowls served as containers for food and liquids, probably sour milk, the basis of the Tuareg diet. They are objects used daily and passed down from generation to generation. Its decoration reflects the fine lines, balance and graphic simplicity that characterize the art of the Tuareg people of the Sahara Desert in North Africa. Its population extends across six African countries: Algeria, Libya, Niger, Mali, Mauritania and Burkina Faso.
